Great ideas start with good conversations - connecting leaders to strengthen Sweden’s competitiveness

On October 7, Vectura hosted its first National Ecosystem Dinner at Vectura-owned Forskaren in Hagastaden. The evening brought together C-suite leaders from across its innovation clusters and the wider Life Science and Tech ecosystem. The evening centred around a shared ambition: strengthening Sweden’s competitiveness through collaboration, new perspectives and meaningful connections.

Our owners on the stage
The evening began with reflections from Christian Cederholm, CEO, and Jenny Ashman Haquinius, CFO, of Vectura’s owner Investor, on the global landscape and Sweden’s competitiveness.
Throughout the dinner, representatives from Vectura’s innovation clusters highlighted Sweden’s strengths and opportunities. The gathering aimed to connect leaders across industries, disciplines and locations - encouraging knowledge-sharing, new perspectives and collaboration to help strengthen Sweden’s competitiveness.

“For us, that means bringing together more than buildings. It means bringing together people, ideas and expertise,” says Joel Ambré, CEO of Vectura.
With destinations including The Loop in Lund, Nāst and GoCo in the Gothenburg region, and Forskaren in Stockholm, Vectura brings together companies, researchers, academia and other key actors in some of Sweden’s leading innovation environments.

The dinner
The dinner was an extension of this ambition - creating opportunities for leaders to connect beyond their usual networks, exchange experiences and explore shared challenges and opportunities. Because innovation rarely happens in isolation. It grows when different perspectives meet and conversations turn into collaboration.

Great ideas start with good conversations. And Vectura’s first National Ecosystem Dinner was about creating the space for more of them - with the shared ambition of contributing to a stronger, more competitive Sweden.
